Cheer Factor

  1. LOL! Great cartoon! Funny thing is, I'm technically NT, but I feel that way about obnoxiously happy people too. Can't tell you how often I've wanted to react the exact same way. Maybe I'll try it next time. :O)

  2. Oh my.... but I like tapioca pudding!!

    Still a great cartoon regardless!!

Is it a bad thing that I can sometimes be that obnoxiously happy person? I have a positive outlook and it can get seemingly out of control. Not that it's a bad thing. I would rather stay cheerful than depressed and make it my mission to do so.

  3. Hi Chris, I don't think it's a bad thing. Positive thinkers can be good to have around. Sometimes they expect everyone else to be cheerful too, and they can't understand why we're not, any more than we can understand how they stay so cheerful.

  4. Chris, I like tapioca pudding too! But creamy oatmeal gags me!
I relate to Peachless the most. Those particular phrases and small-talk questions that get me overthinking my response and choking. By the time I think of something witty to say, the moment has past!

  5. Two people who like tapioca? That is a surprise, I thought it was universally despised!

  6. There's a difference between canned tapioca (Add flavoring? Egads, man! Think of our profits!) and real.

Yeah. The Peachless challenge. One can always fall back on the "I just saved a bundle on auto insurance!" as the "what's new?" answer.

    1. OK, I must be missing out on something with the tapioca... I don't mind it, it's just pudding with globs to me.

  7. I love this! This reminds me sooo much of work right now where I sit near a Cheer Factor Bird and ugh, is it difficult. How many times can you talk about the weather? Clearly not enough!

re: tapioca, I like the tiny pearls but not the big globs. picky!

    1. Globs is globs, I say. Keep my pudding glob-free.

  8. I still don't understand how being honest when someone asks how you are is a bad thing. Flubbs, I feel your pain. Your, uhh, cartoon pain.

    1. LOL, just remember, the Cheer Factor Bird cares not for what's stuck in your teeth.
