Productive

  1. EXACTLY! And if you need to delegate responsibility, all those people will "look" busy. The boss will wonder why you're not holding up your end when you ask for an assistant. THEN, IF you're assigned an assistant, they're off jabbering to all your NT office mates! *sigh*

  2. Very true! Something so similar happened on a bowling team I was on last year. We had to wait to start since other people were late. Everyone sits around jabbering, catching up. I give that little curtesy space to the person bowling in the next lane and I get yelled at for not bowling faster. :)

  3. I'm really glad I don't work in an office.

  4. Ah, the injustices of being an Aspie, or even just an introvert, in the office. Maybe this calls for a cultural diversity training. Yes - I'll ask HR to get right on that... maybe they'll buy us lunch...

  5. Glad I'm not in that office, because I don't know if I'd have been able to avoid jumping on someone trying to quote "what Jesus said in the Book of Revelation..." (Hint: He didn't have any lines in that book.) The only plus there is that the poor ignorant fool didn't call it "Revelations".

  6. LOL, Jonathan - news to me, so I guess that makes me the ignorant fool. :) A Google search for "Jesus said in the Book of Revelation" turns up 478,000 hits, so it seemed like a pretty good bet.
